Terms & Conditions OF berthing

Last updated: July 2025

Berth Availability

All bookings are subject to the availability of berth space.

Term of Stay

The term of stay is valid until 1400 hrs on the day of departure. Late departures beyond this time will incur a charge equivalent to one (1) full day's berth rate.

Berth Rates

Berth rates are calculated based on the vessel’s Length Overall (LOA) in metres or the pontoon size, whichever is greater and available at the time of booking or registration.

Multihull Rates

Multihull vessels are subject to a rate of 1.25 times for alongside berths or 1.50 times for pontoon berths.

Non-Transferability

Berth bookings and rates are non-transferable between vessels.

Change of Ownership

Any change in vessel ownership must be reported to the Marina Office. The existing contract will be terminated, and a new agreement will be required to be established with the new owner.

Account Responsibility

The vessel owner or captain is responsible for ensuring that the marina account remains current and fully paid.

Outstanding Payments

The Marina reserves the right to pursue legal action or any necessary measures under the law to recover outstanding amounts due.

Vessel Movement Notification

The owner or captain must notify the Marina Office of vessel movement via VHF (Channel 69).

Berth Reassignment

The assigned berth may be relocated at the discretion of the Marina Office without prior notice.

Insurance Requirement

All vessels must maintain valid insurance coverage while berthed at The Marina.

Limitation of Liability

The Marina is not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage to the vessel or its equipment—including but not limited to the hull, motor, accessories, tender, fenders, tools—arising from fire, theft, vandalism, collision, equipment failure, natural disasters (windstorm, rain, earthquake), or any other cause. All use of The Marina is at the vessel owner's, skipper’s, and guests’ own risk.

Pontoon Cleanliness

Pontoons must be kept clean at all times. Littering, oil spills, or garbage disposal on the pontoon is strictly prohibited.

Work on Vessels

All works or contractor appointments on the vessel require prior approval from the Marina Office.

Access Card Policy

A marina access card will be issued to the vessel. The card is non-transferable and must not be shared with unauthorised persons.

Charter Vessels

Charter vessels are subject to additional terms and conditions as determined by The Marina.

Noise & Conduct

All berth holders are required to maintain a peaceful environment. Loud music, parties, disruptive behaviour, or any form of disturbance is prohibited. Please respect the privacy of other marina residents at all times.
